Before you apply
Do I need previous volunteering experience?
No. We welcome people who are willing to learn and contribute responsibly.
Is there a fee to become a volunteer?
No. There is no general fee to submit a volunteer application.
Can students apply?
Yes. Students aged 16 or over may apply. Some roles may be limited to applicants aged 18 or over.
Can I volunteer remotely?
Yes, selected roles may be completed remotely, including research, communication, design and administration.
Will I receive a certificate?
Certificates or recognition may be provided where appropriate, based on participation and contribution.
Will volunteering guarantee an international opportunity?
No. International opportunities depend on eligibility, selection, organiser requirements, funding and availability.
Your contribution should be meaningful, safe and properly supported.
Volunteer roles are matched with current needs, available supervision and the Foundation’s safeguarding requirements. Some roles may require references, identity checks, training or additional suitability checks.
